One of Hemingway's pinnacle works, A Farewell to Arms is known to just about any reader. Being that Hemingway himself was injured in World War I, there is a clear connection between fiction and reality in this classic. His notable simple style coupled with his equally notable expression of extravagant experiences and places comprises something that is so purely Hemingway, and it has been an incredible journey so far.

Stewart Lee Allen really delivers in this travel memoir detailing his Indiana Jones-esque style of coffee hunting. Blending coffee history factoids with his own experiences, Allen does well by his intrigued (and probably caffeine-induced) readers. One cannot read this book without beginning to devise their own coffeecentric adventure. As Allen brings his memoir to a close, you want more, and there could be a good opportunity there. With the third wave of coffee existing in full force, it might be time for Allen to hit the road again.
